About the Business
If you are having gas work carried out in your home you should use a Gas Safe registered engineer. The Gas Safe register replaced the Corgi gas register in Great Britain and the Isle of Man on the 1st April 2009. To carry out gas work, engineers must by law be on the gas register. The gas register exists to protect you, your family and your property.
Incorrectly installed, poorly maintained or badly repaired gas appliances can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning, which causes serious health problems and can be fatal. Using a Gas Safe registered engineer is the only way to ensure your appliances are safe. You can ask to see an engineers Gas Safe register ID card and/or use the Gas Safe ‘check an engineer service’ online by entering the engineers gas safe license no.
To make sure your appliances are operating safely and efficiently we carry out the following checks, which will also ensure there are no unsafe emissions from your appliance, giving you complete peace of mind. Should any extra work be required to make an appliance safe, we will inform you before the extra work commences.
