We are registered with Gas Safe Reg no 303788 which is the official stamp for gas safety in the United Kingdom. To work legally on gas appliances and installations you must be on the Gas Safe Register. All gas engineers should be registered with Gas Safe Register by law to work with gas. Always check a gas engineer is on the register before employing them to carry out work for you. And when your engineer arrives on your doorstep, always ask to see their Gas Safe Register ID card before letting them in.
Our Gas Safe registered engineers will carry out tests and checks to establish your appliances are operating safely. Where an appliance or pipework has been installed in an unsafe way, or is operating unsafely and the engineer cannot rectify the situation immediately, they will follow the guidance outlined in the Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure (GIUSP) and Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 to make the installation safe. This is the industry accepted document for guiding engineers on dealing with unsafe situations.
